Software Engineering

Hi, thank you for visiting! My name is Sif. I am open to a remote part / full time position in a Software Engineer role. I finished my Master's program earlier this year and I am currently working in an amazing company that delivers Identity Management and Cloud solutions to clients big and small. One of my interest is creating and using software and tools to defend this country and the organizations in this country. I have experience writing production level code. Whether it's for a potential project or just to say hi, please don't hesitate to reach out.

  1. I once worked in the field for the US Census Bureau. This job is only available every 10 years as mandated by the US Constitution.
  2. I have also worked as a Poll Worker a few times.
  3. I'm a foodie. As long as I have something cold to drink, you can feed me almost anything.
  4. Did you know FAQ is also "facts and questions," not just "frequently asked questions?"

I wrote Privacy Tracker to be an on-going online project where I track companies and their privacy practice. It is true that many companies are unwilling or unable to enforce their privacy policy (let alone other policies they claim have).

I created an online and offline tool to make it easier scan malware hashes. While performing analysis, you often want to know if it's a known problem or if it's new. If you're curious (it's perfectly safe), feel free to visit this site and take a look at the MD5 hashes ( of virus samples.

I was trying to convince my significant other that I didn't want a cat by showing her all the possibilities of cats out there. She would look at random pictures of cats and be indecisive. It worked for a while until she brought home a cat from a family friend.

I decided to have a little fun after I read an article about Harvard's grade inflation. Just hit refresh if you're not happy with your grade. I don't believe my alma mater to have this problem, so I created this site to reflect that. The original generator site for Harvard showed that you could only get a grade of A or B.

Cirquet is a location based social media app intended to broaden the ability for users and business to interact with each other and ultimately bring individuals closer to one another. Businesses often want to reach out to prior customers and bring in new ones. We feel the best way to do so is through non-intrusive social hubs hosted by the establishment. Our goal for this project was to facilitate online communication in an unprecedented way by turning real world venues into chatrooms. The app is currently in development for iOS and utilizes QR readers. We hope to start work on an Android implementation and incorporate NFC and GPS technology into later iterations.
